Walmart DSV (Drop Ship Vendor) Label

Specialized shipping labels and packing slips required for Walmart Drop Ship Vendors to fulfill orders directly to customers.

Acting as Walmart's Warehouse

As a Drop Ship Vendor (DSV), you ship products directly to Walmart's customers, but you must make it look like it came from Walmart. This means you can't use your own shipping labels. You have to use the official Walmart DSV labels so the branding is consistent for the customer.

Strict Formatting Rules

Walmart has very specific rules for these labels. They include the Walmart logo, specific fonts, and a layout that must fit a standard 4x6 thermal label perfectly. If your label looks messy or the logo is blurry, it can result in penalties or even losing your DSV status.

  • Must use Walmart-branded shipping labels.
  • Requires a specific Walmart-approved packing slip.
  • Labels must be printed clearly on thermal printers.

The Packing Slip Requirement

Along with the label, every DSV order must include a specific packing slip inside the box. This slip has Walmart’s return policy and customer service info. Using a tool to automate both the label and the packing slip at once is a huge time-saver for high-volume vendors.

Carrier Integration

Walmart DSV labels are usually tied to Walmart's own shipping accounts with carriers like FedEx or UPS. When you generate a label, the system uses Walmart's rates and tracking numbers, which ensures the package is tracked correctly within the Walmart ecosystem.
