Suffocation Warning Label
A mandatory safety warning required for all poly bags with an opening of 5 inches or more to prevent accidental suffocation in children.
Legal and Amazon Requirements
If you use poly bags to prep your items, you must include a suffocation warning. Amazon is extremely strict about this: the warning must be printed on the bag itself or applied as a highly visible sticker. If a warehouse worker finds a bag without a warning, they will flag your account and charge you for "unplanned prep."
Warning Label Sizing
The size of the warning text depends on the size of the bag. For example, bags larger than 60 inches need at least a 24pt font. Instead of buying multiple sizes of pre-printed bags, many sellers use a warning label maker to print the correct size label on-demand.
- Mandatory for all bags with a 5" opening or larger.
- Text must be legible and in a contrasting color.
- Can be combined with your FNSKU label to save space.
