Freight Forwarder

A person or company that organizes shipments for individuals or corporations to get goods from the manufacturer or producer to a market, customer, or final point of distribution.

Your International Shipping Partner

A freight forwarder doesn’t actually move the boxes; they act as the "travel agent" for your cargo. They negotiate prices with ships, planes, and trucking companies and handle the mountain of paperwork (like the Bill of Lading and Commercial Invoice) required to move goods across borders.

Why Every Amazon Seller Needs One

Importing goods from overseas is complicated. A good forwarder handles customs clearance, ensuring you don’t get stuck with unexpected duties or seized items. They also offer "consolidation" services, where they combine several small shipments into one large container to save you money.

  • Handles customs, insurance, and port fees.
  • Provides real-time tracking for international shipments.
  • Essential for moving goods from China to FBA warehouses.
